Sabbath In The World

April 26th, 2007

The Isrealites had been told in the Torah (or Pentateuch) to keep the Sabbath. Most modern people believe that as a Christian we should at least keep the Ten Commandments which they believe to be the Word of G-d to us for clean living. The fourth command is to keep the Sabbath. But what does “keep the Sabbath” really mean and how Read the rest of this entry »

Too Close To Home

April 23rd, 2007

OK, I know that some people will not agree with this, but once again I reiterate my stance in voting for Bush in this critical time in the world. Once again we have had a massacre in Virginia and two or three bomb scares in Austin, TX. Because of all this activity too close to home, we are all emotional and Read the rest of this entry »

Back in the Saddle Again

April 23rd, 2007

OK, we have now finished the big move from third floor to third floor and all went well (albeit long and even with help). It took the man of the family three weeks to get everything transported, running about a trip or two a day in a full-bed pickup. This has proven to be both bodily exhausting and mentally stimulating at the same time. In other words, the more I moved, the less I wanted to do physical labor and really wanted to use my head more.

So, in this train of thought, I am endeavoring to start upgrading my business site soon and will begin an expanded move into marketing for web hosting needs that I can fill. If any one knows of someone that needs web hosting and a slather of really cool tools, send them to www.denningservices.com asap and have them fill out the email form to contact ByteMark. The more of this stuff I can do, the less physical labor I have to do.

And this is what the move has taught me.

Three Weeks to Chaos

January 26th, 2007

We are now at the three week mark till move time and I am just as ready as I think I will get. It has taken years to get everything just so, and in three week’s time everything will be in places it is not supposed to be and the placing and building process has to start all over. Being a man of order, I hate every aspect of it.

The only thing at this point that I will actually like is the extra space to operate. And I am also looking forward to having space for a poker table. I am also looking forward to not having to hear the beverage business next door clang those kegs around when I like the quiet.

I also welcome the reduction of sirens of all kinds blaring down four localized major roadways. I also welcome the chance to have space to invite people over for Biblical studies. Given the right opportunity, I also look forward to having an electronic projector system with the space to get the sound right.

But I hate moving.

Prosper.com - Spreadsheets updated

December 25th, 2006

Corrections have been being made to existing spreadsheets on Prosper.com for the House of Denning Foundation. We are several steps closer to having the opportunity to publish on the web what we are doing as well as how you can be a part.

Included in these calcs are going to be offsets for inflation as well as approximately actual and future potential calcs. We are very excited about the potential we have here, and the numbers are bearing out the validity of this excitement.

Be looking for updates to this blog as we get closer to the launch date of the public presentation of these calculations. And if anyone has extended experience in Amortized Loans and Loan Stacking, please let us know if you would like to help in the process.

The Real Presidential Message concerning Iraq

December 16th, 2006

In explaining to the American people what the “mission in Iraq” is really about, I do not believe that the overriding message in its simplicity is being conveyed in a truly understandable manner. If I understand it in its true purpose and meaning, let me help simplify the message.

Explaining the Mission:

  1. The Mission, as I understand it, is to keep the extremists in Iraq off of American soil.
  2. The Mission substandard is to provide an existance of freedom and liberty to the Iraqi people as a whole.
  3. The fulfullment of the mission, in totality, is to create a local system of containment which is a local government and militia.

Explaining the Mission Reason:

Our confrontation in Iraq is not a question of whether we stay or whether we leave. It is a question of twhat we are protecting. Being that adults are basically grown up chilidren, viewed in this light we are basically protecting Americans and Iraqis against bullies.

The first question to ask is: “What do the Muslim extremists want?”

They do not want land (at least not at first).

They do not want recognition (except from the living non-Muslims they have not killed yet).

They do want Americans and Israelies to be dead.

This means they will not stop at borders to pursue Americans when troops leave. We have already experienced this. Borders mean nothing. If borders mean nothing, and they will go where Americans (and Israelies) are at, then we have to be there. Until a local government can reign them in, we need to confront them there so that we do not have to confront them here on American soil.

It’s as simple as that.

M.L. Denning of Austin to Move

December 10th, 2006

Well, the time has finally come for the House of M. L. Denning - Austin to move their place of residence. We were in our current place only for a temporary time and we knew it. But we only went in for a year or two. Now, after 9-10 years later, we are finally ready to make the transition to a larger place.

It will be sad to see the old place go as this is where the misses was living when we met, so there is a ton of sentimental value that will be left here. On the other hand, the task of life is to grow, and so grow we must.

There will be some major financial restructuring going on in the next 3-5 months which will be in our favor. In the mean time, be watching here (as usual) for updates to our progress.

Immediate In-Laws Now Hosted by ByteMark

November 24th, 2006

Today I set up a new domain for my immediate in-laws and got them working with their own email and hosting account. There will be a lot of growth happening there as they find out all the things they can do with their account.

I am now handling all the email and hosting forums for immediate family and look forward to taking on other extended family as I come to them. As always, I look forward to any and all donations from the House of Denning that would help in this endeavor, but it will all be carried regardless because this is my cause.

I just thought all would like to know that we are growing and more are welcome on board any time.

Tooth biting again

November 21st, 2006

All the work I can have done this year is done and we are paying the dentist the rest of what we owe.  All is well, and no serious lessons have been learned this time.  One old one has been reinforced though - brush your teeth regularly.  Genetics is enough to deal with and you don’t want preventable problems on top of that.

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving and getting together with family.  I do wish all my family could gather together, but for another year this will not be possible.  I will be thankful that my mouth is not hurting anymore.  I wish all a great holiday of remembrance of our blessings and convey my wishes that all pray for this great country of ours this year.
